The Ghosts Project and the Israel Series were conceived on a Jewish Federation mission trip to Poland and Israel in the Spring of 2008. Walking into the death camps of Poland I could see the present condition of the camps. At the same time I could see traces of the horrors that the Holocaust left behind. Those images are what I have attempted to portray in the paintings. I've expanded the series to cover other historical conflicts and the book is available HERE.
